Big Idea: God gives Favor that we don't deserve

"But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD." genesis6/8kjv
"grace" = "extending of favor" often when it is neither expected nor deserved

LOOK AT THEM Why Noah was special (Genesis 6)
Listened to God: vs13 "God said to Noah..."
Covenants with God: vs18 "(God) I will make a covenant with you..."
Trusted God: vs18,19 "Go into the boat... take into the boat"
Obeyed God: vs22 "Noah did everything that God commanded"

LOOK AT ME
I must be Faithful
"So it is with faith: if it is alone and includes no actions, then it is dead. But someone
will say, "One person has faith, another has actions." My answer is, "Show me how
anyone can have faith without actions. I will show you my faith by my actions."

The Ark is a picture of God's grace
Noah is an example of God's grace

"Noah, who was a farmer, was the first man to plant a vineyard. After he drank some of the wine, he became drunk, took off his clothes, and lay naked in his tent."genesis9/20>21tev

"It was faith that made Noah hear God's warnings about things in the future that he could not see. He obeyed God and built a boat in which he and his family were saved. As a result, the world was condemned, and Noah received from God the righteousness that comes by faith" hebrews11/7tev

"Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus"
