Overcoming the Stigma of the Cross
Many people, especially Jewish people, have a hard time dealing with the fact that Jesus, the Messiah, died on the cross and shed His precious blood. This passage in Hebrews gives us four reasons why Jesus had to die on the cross for our sins and helps us overcome the difficulty of accepting such an awful death.

Creeps at the Thanksgiving Table
The Bible warns about the selfishness and arrogance of man as the end times approach. Sometimes family problems like these are manifested the most during holidays. This message helps us deal with interpersonal problems that arise because of the inherent sinfulness of man. Don't be a creep at the Thanksgiving table this week.

Saving Pavement
It is sad that we so often hold dear material things that won't last through eternity. Solomon was guilty of accruing exorbitant wealth that he was never able to fully use. We must guard against the mentality that always desires more gold. Heaven has its share of pure gold lining its streets, so we don't need to waste our time on earth "saving pavement."

Steak Does Not Fit in a Bottle
Baby Christians can't handle the "meatier" things of the Word of God. In a ministry that sees many lost people come to Christ, we must help them grow and mature in their faith one step at a time. We can't expect a toddler Christian to swallow steak in a bottle. This message, preached my Youth Pastor Brandon Chambers, reminds us that new converts need mature Christians to love them and help them along in their new life in Christ.

Are You Having a Blast?
Are you thankful that God allows you has a Christian to have fun? A Christian is person of joy. Indeed, a gloomy, depressed Christian is a contradiction of terms. Christ's work in our lives gives us every reason to be filled with joy in our hearts. We should also have joy as we enter God's house to worship, and joy as we go through the storms of life. In your Christian life, are you having a blast?

Let's Get Specific
In the process of sanctification, a person needs to isolate what they must change next in their lives to become more like Christ. Unless a person gets specific with sins to cast off and fruits of the Spirit to put on, he will never go down the road in the process of sanctification. This message helps us understand how God uses events in our lives to get us to ask Him what He wants to change in us.

It's All About Grace
Perhaps the most beautiful word in all the Bible is the word "grace." Rev. Thomas Pope, pastor of Central Baptist Church in Columbus, and the recipient of Grace Christian School's 2009 Alumnus of the Year award, preaches on the subject of God's unmerited favor toward us. This message simply reminds us that grace reaches farther than anything, and that we can accomplish great things through God's grace.

Let Freedom Ring
As Americans, we should always be thankful for the freedom we enjoy in this country. The Bible offers ways that we can enjoy spiritual freedom as well. We experience freedom through godly character, godly companions, and a well-balanced church. If you've experienced freedom in Christ, let that freedom ring.

The Half Has Not Been Told
What does the world see when they look at Christians? The Queen of Sheba marvelled at the wisdom, wealth, and fame of Solomon, going so far as to say that "the half was not told her" of how great he was. May the world marvel at what Christ has done for us, and may we as Christians never lose the wonder of being a child of the King.

Renewing Our Passion for the Lost
How many times do we wonder why our soul winning is ineffective or why we don't even have a desire to go soul winning? It is because we don't have the prerequisite desire to linger with Jesus and sit at His feet. Sam Thomas, missionary to Egypt, preaches a very simple message reminding us of how to live close to Jesus so our passion for the lost remains strong.
