We have been given the transfiguration through Peter, John and James who were there– a peek behind the curtain – a sneak peek where we see Jesus as he really is. We see a momentary revelation of His divine glory that was normally concealed during His days on earth. They saw a revelation of Jesus’ deity – His glory. The glory of God is one of the great mega-themes of the Bible.The glory of God is a big deal. It is a big deal to him so it should be a big deal to us. The question that we need to evaluate for ourselves is whether we see God as more glorious than ourselves
