This is the second part of our study through Jesus' teaching on divorce found in Mark 10:1-12. In our first study, we took all of Sunday and broke down what divorce is… Divorce is sin; it is sin on the part of one or both parties in the relationship and God hates it. In this second part of our study, we want to spend our time looking at what do we do with that reality and in particular we will be looking to answer three questions : 1. What is the heart issue involved in the Sin of Divorce? 2. How does the understanding of this heart issue affects our understanding of the divorce from God’s perspective? 3. How should our understanding of divorce affect how we relate to our spouse or what we are looking for in a future spouse?
