There is a grave danger when we make errors about the world that we live within. The Sadducees were very confident in what they believed but that did not make them right. There are a variety of beliefs about what happens to us when we did. The Sadducees believed that nothing happens to us when we die. That is a belief that has huge consequences to it. What a person believes about what happens to them when they die has eternal consequences according to Jesus. Jesus was very clear that there is an afterlife. Jesus was very clear that people still exist when they die and that there will one day be a resurrection. If you don’t believe that, you should. If you do believe that, do you live with an eternal perspective?
