The study of End-Times prophecy can be very frustrating and confusing. If you listen to the proponents of each view, you will discover that they all make sense and that they all have a pretty sound rational and basis for their position. I sometimes feel like I am being swayed to an end-times position more by the skill of a great debater or orator rather than clear Biblical exegesis. I don’t like that, but what are we supposed to do. The fact is that end-times prophecy is not clear so what are we supposed to do with that. Chapter 13 gives us some direction on how to live in light of all of the end-times views. The message of Chapter 13 is that we need to stay on our guard, remain awake and alert, maintain our purpose, and keep our eyes on our hope, which is the return of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
