The Gospel must drive our relationships with all people because we are all Kingdom missionaries. Last week was about the Christian and prejudice, while this week covers the Christian and favoritism. Favoritism plagues us all, marking how we relate to others, whether we think about it or not. James points out that you cannot hold to the Christian faith and favoritism at the same time.
