Conflict is the constant theme in Matthew 12, but there is a glorious hope in this Sabbath conflict–Jesus Christ. He is the suffering Servant of the Father, the Messiah King who serves the will of His Father in heaven, and He is the Lord of the Law who fulfills and interprets the Law perfectly.
