Sermon Cloud

He who has clean hands and a pure heart,
who does not lift up his soul to an idol
or swear by what is false.

He will receive blessing from the LORD
and vindication from God his Savior.
Such is the generation of those who seek him,
who seek your face, O God of Jacob.
Psalm 24: 3-6

This encourages me to want to improve and make myself better though Him. This, of course, is not emphasis on good works. It's a direct result of the grace that saves us and renders us free. When we continually repent and seek God, our actions will naturally follow from that pure heart. I want to be so filled with the Holy Spirit and know the joy of a close walk with Him. A walk which comes from having clean hands and a pure heart.
