Life Begins At The Cross

Life begins at the cross. At the cross, the bad news comes to an end and the good news begins. On an instrument of death, death itself is dealt a death blow. Life begins at the cross. Paul said, “I determined to know nothing before you except Christ and Him crucified.” The center and starting point of the message of the Bible is that on that cross, God worked to put an end to punishment, sorrow, sickness, disease, loneliness, hardship, anger, hurt, pain, sin, sin, sin, death...it all was put to death on that cross when God laid it all on His Son, Jesus. When sinners want to be free of sin, get forgiven and get new life, they come to the cross and embrace the death of their sins in that place and receive the life of Christ. Life begins at the cross.
