The Prayer for His Glory
0 Amens
The Apostle Paul moves naturally from praise to prayer. The follower of Jesus Christ today must do so as well. Paul's urgency in prayer is a motivator for the church today while the contents of Paul's prayer make it clear that he wanted the church to have a fuller understanding of the incomparably great power of God. Paul teaches that this power was displayed most prominently in the resurrection and exaltation of Jesus. Today Jesus sits in the place of honor and authority over every competing entity for the sake of the church. This is an amazing comfort to us in our uncertainty and a great motivator to prayer.
