Premise: I am not perfect!

Abraham was Rich, Respected, and Religious.

I. ABRAHAM'S FAITH - Genesis 12:1-4

The Problem: God needed a nation, a people, and a line to introduce Jesus Christ (to redeem man from sin).

The Proposal: God will start with Abram.

The Price: Leave your country, culture, kin.

The Promise: Abram, you will be the father of many nations and God will always be with you.

II. ABRAHAM'S FABRICATION - Genesis 12:10-20

The Problem: Abraham took matters into his own hands.

The Proposal: Sarai, say that you're my sister!

The Price: Pharaoh was plagued with diseases and Abraham got back an angry Sarai.

III. ABRAHAM'S FAILURE - Genesis 16:1-12

The Problem: No son

The Proposal: Sleep with Hagar, the maidservant.

The Price: Hagar despised Sarai.
