LIFE’S HEALING CHOICES
“The Commitment Choice”
Pastor Duane Cross |  10.18.09

1. Reality choice:  Realize I’m not God, admit I’m powerless to control my tendency to do the wrong thing and admit my life is unmanageable.

2. Hope choice: Earnestly believe that God exists, that I matter to Him, and that He has the power to help me change.

3. Commitment choice: To consciously choose to commit all my life and will to Christ’s care and control.

“Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth.”  (Matthew 5:5)

Meekness = ______________________________________________________

“Christ, who suffered for you, is your example. Follow in his steps. He never sinned, and he never deceived anyone. He did not retaliate when he was insulted. When he suffered, he did not threaten to get even. He left his case in the hands of God, who always judges fairly.”  (1 Peter 2:21-23, NLT)

1) Meekness is confidence  ___________________________________________

“God, your God, is the God of all gods, he’s the Master of all masters, a God immense and powerful and awesome.”  (Deut. 10:17, MSG)
