God is an absolutely amazing God whose knowledge, love, and care are too wonderful for many of us to truly get a gripe of the Divine. Do we know what is being given to us? If so, are willing to accept?
Are we willing to allow some things to die and rise in Christ? That is: are we willing to let go to allow God to take the things we need to die to and give us new life through the living Christ? If we look up and listen we hear those affirming words, “You are my child, you are beloved.”
Looking up and following the light allows us to view the Living Christ and be the Living Christ. Are we willing to look for the signs? Are we willing to walk in faith, guided by the light? Are we actually looking for Jesu, or just the glitter?
And he came to her and said, “Greetings, favored one! The Lord is with you. But she was much perplexed by his words and pondered what sort of greeting this might be. The angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God.” --Luke 1:28-30
“But just when he had resolved to do this, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream and said, Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary as your wife, for the child conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit.” --Matthew 1:20
