Often Christians are portrayed as ignorant hicks. This can cause us to lose faith in the power of the gospel. As we follow Paul's church-planting efforts in Thessalonica and Berea we see that the gospel is both persuasive and offensive. Understanding the nature of the gospel will give us renewed confidence in the gospel.
