Air

Insects, birds, kites, and planes all fly in a medium known as AIR.
The make up of air is designed to fuel bodies AND plants - a finely tuned balance of the gases Nitrogen (N2) at 78.09%, Oxygen (O2) at 20.946%, Argon (A) at 0.93%, and Carbon Dioxide (CO2) at 0.033%. It is odorless; it is mostly invisible, though certain mixtures as in our atmosphere scatter certain wavelengths of light to make the sky blue. It can stagnate, has thermodynamic properties, it has the capacity to hold water vapor as we see in Middle Tennessee in the hot, humid dog days of summer. It can be muggy It can move, shifting in large masses and across fronts to and fro across the earth. Sometimes these movements are subtle, a kind and cool breeze on a spring day. Other times its movements are drastic and sudden, bringing howling, and terror, the blowing of the wind....
Yet without air life would be nothing like we know it today...
