Last week we introduced out elements series, where we are going to be looking at Normal stuff of the Universe, with the Scriptures, God's Word as our guide. We will be asking God to show us, to ingrain in us, that the Normal is Far from Normal. 

God has given us all things in this world - to show something of himself.  We do not, we will not worship the created thing - there is no Gaia Worship, or Nature Worship here - but rather, we look to the Bible and see what God says about these elements, so that we may see and understand and know him, love him in light of the things he has made. 

Tonight we touch our first element, a very common compound, which is everywhere, that of DIRT
