Looking for a Fight

Jesus enters Jerusalem with much on his mind.  He has told his disciples on three different occasions about what will happen to him, but it seems to be lost on them.  After his triumphal entry into the city, he goes directly to the temple to check things out.  He returns there day after day to mix it up with the religious elite.  This of course is only a prelude to the ultimate events which will happen later in the week.

A Jesus of our Own Liking

The crowds had certain expectations of what Jesus would do for them.  When it didn't look like he was going to come through for them, they turned on him.  Much like those crowds, when Jesus doesn't produce in the way we think he should, we can lose hope in Him.  We must accept Jesus for who He really is, not what we or the culture simply want him to be.
