If Inversion ever becomes club, where we are all just together about nothing - I will have to quit.   We felt like we have a little fun with ourselves and point out two things.

Deep, Loving, Friends on Mission vs. Club Inversion

From day 1, many of you asked me, are we going to make this a creepy young singles, just hang out, goofy thing.  I said, No, in fact I will never do that.  We will be a group of young adults, united around life and satisfaction in God, and being on mission in our world to impact this place for Jesus Christ. 

Connect back to last week - We began with a road trip...New relationships formed - with God (Lydia meets Jesus, a Jailer and his family meet Jesus) all of them meet Paul and the band of brothers on mission...

Three Things to Learn today

• Warm Greetings to the Peoples at Philippi - Friendships in the body of Christ are centered in the grace and peace of God.  Each of us having a role and function in the church and the attitude of leaders in the church should be that of servants who have been given responsibility, not of big shots who just want to run things.
• The Endearment of Missional Friendships Friendships in the body of Christ, the family of God, are by nature both deeply intimate and purposefully missional - centered around the person and mission of Jesus.  Such friendships can be deep and meaningful, especially in the midst of life's struggles.
• The Highest Priority - The Gospel Going Forth - The Gospel going forth is a central unifying theme for the people of God.  His work in us through Jesus Christ brings fruit in our life which literally shows God off.  By taking broken people and working in our lives God makes Jesus look good in the midst of our community.
