From Tears to Rejoicing: Responding to the Word of God

One of the greatest questions we will be faced with is how will we respond when we hear God's word.  Will we harden our hearts?  Or will we respond like the children of Israel in Nehemiah 8?  They began by weeping, but left overwhelmed with joy at the grace of God to forgive their sins.  As we study this text we will take time to consider what it is about God that is able to move his people from weeping to rejoicing and feasting.  It is our goal that the God they saw would be the God you would see as you ponder Him in His word and that you, too, would find yourself overwhelmed with joy and moved to celebrate our great God.
