Boxer Shorts and the Glorious Bride (Song of Songs)

The Song of Songs depicts the beauty of human sexuality. The anthology of poems expresses love in its most intimate, sensual, and beautiful context: man and bride (8:5-7). Sadly, throughout history, most interpreters have stolen a relevant text about sexuality, and turned it into an allegory. The sermon challenges us to let the Bible speak for itself, and as it does, it will inform us on abuses of human sexuality--adultery, fornication, pornography, teenage indulgence--and sexual fullness--marriage, unity, witness.
