RUNNING ON EMPTY

“Doing More and Enjoying it Less”

Scripture: Isaiah 5:8-10

Who has the final call as to when your plate is too full? (v.8)

The truth is, life gets very lonely without margins. (v.8)

FOUR TIMES THE “EMPTY” WARNING LIGHT SHOULD COME ON!

1. When relationships close to you, that really matter, begin

to suffer. (v.8)

2. When acquiring your dream results in too much compromise. (v.8)

3. When there are no principled boundaries. (v.8)

4. When there is diminished joy. (v.9,10)

CAN YOU CHANGE WHAT YOU’RE DOING? (Psalm 32:8,9)

1. GOD ~ “I will instruct you and teach you in the way

which you should go.”

2. GOD ~ “I will counsel you with My eye upon you.”

3. Don’t be like the horse or the mule!
