1. Noah gets drunk after making a covenant with God. (Gen. 9:20, 21)

2. Noah, found drunk and naked in his tent by his son Ham. (Gen. 9: 22, 24)

3. Noah places a patriarchal curse on the Canaanite descendants of his youngest son, Ham. (Gen.9:25-27)

4. Noah was treated with respect by his two sons Shem and Japheth in spite of his shameful behavior. (Gen.9:23)

“Let’s make a name for ourselves”

1. Nimrod, (rebel) the mighty one, world ruler. mighty - ghib-bore’ tyrant (Gen. 10:8-12)

2. The first ambition to have a one world religion and a unified world empire. (Gen. 11:1-4)

The Lord comes down to take a look (Gen. 11:5-9)

1. The Lord is set against any move of His people to become self-sufficient and independant of Him.

2. That’s simple, said God, “Let’s confuse their language.

WHAT IS THE LORD’S NUMBER ONE CONCERN FROM THE “JOURNEY OF BEGINNINGS”UP TO THIS VERY DAY?

That we would get busy and forget the LORD our God!
