The Six Symbols of the Holy Spirit

The Anointing Oil

12 ½ Pounds pure myrrh                      6 ¼ pounds of cinnamon

6 ¼ pounds of sweet cane                    12 ½ pounds of cassia

1 gallon of olive oil

This will always be my holy anointing oil. It must never be poured on the body of an ordinary person, and you must never make any of it for yourselves. It is holy and you must treat it as holy. Exodus 30

The Four Anointings

            1.  The Leper Anointing (Leviticus 14:17,18)

            2.  The Priest Anointing (Exodus 40:13; Leviticus 8:12,30)

            3.  The Prophet Anointing (1 Kings 19:16)

            4.  The King Anointing (1 Samuel 16:13)

Accept the power and authority of your anointing. (2 Corinthians 1:21; 1 John 2:27)

Accept the measure of your anointing. (1 Samuel 13:8-14)

Jesus had the Spirit without measure (John 4:34)

We have a measure of the Spirit. (Ephesians 4:7)

The “Body of Christ” has the full anointing. (Ephesians 4)

To the degree we function with Christ as our Head and the Body under Him in unity we experience this same anointing.

Yokes will be lifted because of the anointing. (Isaiah 10:27)

You can’t turn it on and you can’t turn it off. (John 3:8)
