Pursuing Work in Christ
The Bible absolutely condemns all involuntary slavery. But much of the slavery in the Roman Empire was voluntary; sort of like jobs, today, right? Since we have Christ living in us (see last week) we can walk in Jesus – live in fellowship with Him in all we do. At the same time, Satan seeks to draw us from this living fellowship with Jesus. But Jesus has given us ways to resist this temptation, so we can stay close to Him.

Christ in You, the Hope of Glory
It’s a startling truth that we can actually have Jesus Christ living inside us. And not living inside us incognito, but giving us such a taste of His glory that we are full of hope in being with Him forever. But this is not automatic. The gospel gives us steps to take to experience Jesus in this way.

Don't Turn from Jesus
In this passage Paul warns the Colossian believers of what could happen to them if they turn from Jesus; warnings that apply to every one of us who is following Jesus.
