Discussion Questions for Study Groups

(Read Ezekiel 1:1-21) Where is the Chebar Canal? What is Ezekiel’s job before the Lord? What do the various parts of the four living creatures symbolize? Look at each part and discuss what they might mean. Each part will portray a truth about their Creator.

(Read Ezekiel 5:1-5) Do you think Ezekiel had to do what was said here? What was God’s purpose in having him do this? Do people learn from visual lessons? Discuss the challenges of being a prophet for God.

(Read Ezekiel 37:1-14) According to verse 1, how was Ezekiel seeing this? What are the dry bones representing? Why did the nation need a vision of the future showing them restored? What explains the establishing of Israel in 1948 after nearly 2000 years of dispersion?
