New Beginnings
Through baptism, we are sons and daughters of God, through faith in Christ (Gal. 3:26). Christ came to John for baptism and in so doing forever changed the meaning of baptism for the rest of us. In baptism, we are claimed as heirs in the Kingdom of God and grafted into the body of Christ. This sermon was followed by a congregational reaffirmation of baptism.
