God Will Improvise!Ephesians 5:19-21; Psalm 96:1-3; Ephesians 1:19-20; Acts 2:22-24 Improvisation is the practice of acting, singing, talking and reacting, of making and creating, in the moment and in response to the stimulus of one's immediate environment. This can result in the invention of new thought patterns, new practices, new structures or symbols, and/or new ways to act. This invention cycle occurs most effectively when the practitioner has a thorough intuitive and/or technical understanding of the necessary skills and concerns within the improvised domain……..  The skills of improvisation can apply to many different abilities or forms of communication and expression across all artistic, scientific, physical, cognitive, academic, and non-academic disciplines. For example, musiccooking, presenting a speechsales, personal or romantic relationships, sportsflower arrangingmartial artspsychotherapythe arts, and much more. Review·         Each of us is called to be a great song unto the Lord.  We believe that faith is not just a Sunday-morning experience.  We believe that faith is to be lived everyday, and while it is good to praise God with on Sundays, God is more interested in whether we give him glory with our lives, everyday! ·         To be God’s song, you need a key, a melody, harmony, and you need rhythm.   Improvisation·         Musical example: a song… intuitive or unexpected external stimulus…. Improvisation!·         Other examples of improvisation: cooking, sports, parenting, marriage… Why We Will Have to Improvise·         Something on the inside (every story of success has at least one “breakaway” moment)·         Unexpected, uncontrolled occurrences!  Stuff Happens!  Improvise!(We, the unwilling, led by the unknowing, are doing the impossible for the ungrateful.
