Traditionally, "missions" has been about simply preaching to/teaching people about Jesus. However, reflecting on several decades in the mission field has brought the speaker to the realization that the whole person needs to be brought to Jesus. We cannot ignore their physical needs, nor their spiritual. If a person is not right with God, with others, with his or her self, and with their environment, then they're not a whole person.
