The New Testament Greek word for "gentleness" implies the right use of power and authority; it is power under control. It may include mercy, meekness, humility, and patience, too. Just as God shows gentleness toward us, we must show gentleness toward others when it is appropriate. The message includes three Bible lessons about godly gentleness.
