Stay in Love with God

In the message, we will be concluding the sermon series on John Wesley's Three General Rules. His final rule is the most important- without it, the first two become impossible. As with the others, it is simple but not necessarily easy: Stay in Love with God. In all of life, may this be our goal, to always love God. Nothing in life will be fruitful, and easy Christian steps will become impossible, if this isn't true. We hope that you'll be challenged to stay in love with God and to make special effort to work on your love.

Do Good

As we continue in the message series "John Wesley's Three General Rules," today we look at his second rule- "Do good." This rule seems rather simple, but as we look at Jesus' words in Luke 6:27-31, we will find that they are not. Will you live a life of good choices for EVERYONE in this world? And will you relinquish your CONTROL and truly show your faith in God by doing good in all situations, even the difficult ones? By doing good, we can have a huge impact on our world. But it means we have to hold on to our faith in God's Power and believe in Jesus' Unconditional Love.

Do no harm

We are excited as we launch a new sermon series- "John Wesley's Three General Rules." In this series, we'll learn a little bit about what it means to be part of a Wesleyan Church and, more importantly, we'll receive direction on how to live a real and true life as a follower of Jesus Christ. We hope that this is meaningful to you. Today, we start with Wesley's first rule: 'Do no harm.' May we recognize that love means seeking to not bring harm to others in our lives.

Faith that Overcomes Shame

We all make mistakes in life. And at times we experience embarrassment when we are confronted with those mistakes. What do we do with embarrassment and shame? How do we clear our heads to be able to move forward from those emotions? In Psalm 103, we discover the benefits of God's love. It is a love that not only forgives us, but also heals and redeems us. Through this passage, may we all find confidence in who we are in Christ and may our faith be stronger than our failures! Let us not forget that God is compassionate and His love removes all sin and shame!

There is Freedom

We conclude our "I Love My Church" message series with a look at 2 Corinthians 3:17-4:6. This passage remind us- "Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom." We will hear a testimony from Tony and Jill Arno. As they share their story, may you be blessed in seeing how God has set them free and guided them to lives filled with wonderful blessings! This can be your truth as well! There is freedom! Be encouraged to allow the Holy Spirit to work in your life. Whatever guilt, sin, and hurts are in your past- there is freedom!
