God reserves certain rights for Himself
0 Amens
I God reserves the right of judgment for Himself. Divisions had developed in the Corinthian church around individuals. We are all made of dust. No one should be elevated above another. Those individuals were ministers (meaning under-rowers) and stewards (house managers) only.
II God is the source of all good that is in every man. We cannot allow our blessings to separate us from people.
III God exercises the right to use those who claim allegiance to Him anyway He chooses. The higher you get in the Kingdom, the more right God has to use you.
IV God will both defend and discipline with power. He disciplines those whom He loves. Examples: I Chronicles 21, David was tempted to number the people. II Kings 18: God sent an angel to defend Israel. "For the word of God. . . is sharper than any double-edged sword." Heb. 4:12
