The greatest evil in today's culture is not rape, murder, or even child-molestation.  It is intolerance.  People today are willing to tolerate any viewpoint except the viewpoint that claims to be uniquely true.

I want to emphasize that I believe we Christians should be tolerant if you understand tolerance properly.  Tolerance used to mean, "Even though I may not agree with you, I respect your right to believe as you do."  In that sense, I want to be tolerant.

The definition of tolerance has undergone a radical transformation.  Basically, tolerance today means that all beliefs, values, life-styles and truth claims are equal.  No one truth is absolute and all truth is relative and what is true for you may not be true for me and what is true for me, may not be true for you and we are to see all viewpoints as equal.

 Let me take this one statement of Jesus Christ and say this - If that statement is true, it is the most important truth you will ever be told and it must be true for everyone.  On the other hand, if it is false, it is the biggest lie you will ever be told and it must be false for everyone.  It is the duty of every honest person to find out which it is.
