Lampstands – the church is to give out light, not to produce its own light. 2. These were seven real churches. 3. These churches are representative of the Christian church – relevant for today. 4. There are continual spiritual lessons. 5. There is clear structure to these letters. Are we prepared to examine ourselves as we go through these letters?
