I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me

•1.     this can be true for every believer

•a)       For we walk by faith, not by sight. (2 Corinthians 5:7)

•b)       For our citizenship is in heaven (Philippians 3:20)

•2.     a determining view of life is based on ownership

•a)       We know that we are of God...(1 John 5:19)

• b) But even if our gospel is veiled... (2 Corinthians 4:3-4)
• c) ...your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit...(1 Corinthians 6:19-20)

•3.     there is a Biblical simplicity to daily victory

• a) ...by this we know... (Colossians 3:1-2)
• b) Seek - Provision (Matt 6:31-34)
• c) Think - Holiness (Philippians 4:8)
• d) Resist - Sinfulness (James 4:7)

•4.     As a believer you have authority over your thoughts

•a)     ...bringing every thought into captivity... (2 Corinthians 10:5)

•b)     ...and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.(Hebrews 4:12)

•c)        ... gird up the loins of your mind...(1 Peter 1:13) (2 Timothy 1:7)

•5.     let the peace of god rule your heart

•a)       ...and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:6-7)
