Why Go Anywhere Else?
A State of Love and Trust: A clarity of faith in the living God which allows one to see the world differently. - Instead of seeing giants, you see the living God (I Sam. 17). - It is better to receive than to take (I Sam. 24). - Live singled-eyed on the promises of God (II Sam. 7:1-17). - Jesus breaks into the fall and the mess in order to redeem it (II Sam. 11).

Single-eyed
King David was said to be “a man after God’s own heart†(I Sam. 13:14). David never claimed to be perfect, but for all his triumphs and tragic falls, he had an undeniable connection with God. Whether standing in victory over a giant, or tempted by a sensual affair, David never forfeited his honest and unabashed relationship with Yahweh. At times he was in a state of euphoria, at times in a state of confusion, and sometimes in a state of denial. But through it all, he existed in a state of love and trust in his God. Come follow David into this posture, and find yourself in a state of love and trust.
