Look Back, Live In the Present

When Jesus healed ten lepers, nine kept going but one stopped and gave thanks to Jesus for what He did. One of the most important ways to live with happiness and contentment is to stop, look back at what God has given you, and give thanks. The one leper who gave thanks after being healed, understood that it wasn't just about what God gave him, it was more about what God's gifts mean--that He loves and cares about your life.

De-Clutter, Change Input Change Outlook

Your input influences your outlook. There were times in David’s life when things went horribly wrong all at once. Instead of focusing on the negative voices around him, he would encourage himself by spending time with God and listening to His voice. we’re not always in control of our problems, but we are in control of our perspective.

De-Clutter, Removal and Renovation

Some things in our life need removal so that it can make way for a renovation. Moses learned this when he was driven from Egypt and left behind all the power and prestige of being a prince. Moses had to work in conjunction with God to make room in his life for the things that were truly important.

De-Clutter, Rhythms of Rest

We don't just need riches, we need rest. Not just money, but margin. When the prophet Elijah was discouraged, overloaded, and lonely, God didn't tell him to get up. God sent an angel to give him rest. God understands that, as humans, we need a rhythm of rest built into our life.

De-Clutter, You're Alive When You're Aligned

We are not the owners of our life, we're the managers. God called Jeremiah to be His prophet and spokesperson. When Jeremiah aligned his life with Gods call, he was blessed, provided for, and delivered. We are most alive when we are most aligned with Gods plan.
