Rebuilding the Kingdom After the Garden
After Genesis 3, God's kingdom is in ruin. God's people are no longer living in God's place in God's presence under God's rule and blessing. How bad is this problem of sin? How will God respond? How will God keep His promise to rebuild and rescue in Genesis 3:15? In Genesis 4 we see that the sin problem is pervasive...yet we also see God's faithfulness to keep His promise and preserve a line for the promised seed of Gen. 3:15. In Genesis 6-9, we see God's judgment on a world enslaved by sin...yet we see hope as God rescues Noah and preserves a line for the promised seed.
