3a Does God Exist?

How would you answer someone if they asked you this question; “How do you really know that God exists?” Believers in each generation of the church have been asked this. Would you be able to answer the questioner, not only from your own personal experience, but also from the proofs that have been offered down through the centuries for God’s existence? We must equip ourselves to be effective ambassadors of the Great Commission.

2 Why Apologetics

What is this word apologetics? Isn’t that just some fancy term for theologians and intellectuals? Why do we need to defend our faith? Furthermore, is it possible for our faith to be both personal and yet also universal at the same time? If that were the case what would that mean in terms of our historic Christian belief?

The Qualities of Those Who Judge

Israel had just defeated Amalek by the hand of God. Joshua had battled while Moses held his hands high in supplication to the Lord (Ex 17:8-13). After this Jethro, Moses' father-in-law came with the man of God's sons, and his wife, to meet with him where he was camped in the wilderness at the foot of the mountain of God (Ex 18:5). It was then that Jethro asked his son-in-law a question that would change his ministry

Where Do We Worship

What is the place of true worship? Where is it that we worship? Certainly we gather in a sense as the Church has for centuries; starting in homes and ending in edifices, some monuments to God's glory and some to man's. Yet are these truly the place where we worship? Does our worship have to do with our senses? Although these senses can enhance our experience this augmented experience is not in itself worship.

When did Jesus become God's Son? That question may sound foolish yet it is one that has plagued many Church scholars throughout the ages.
