Rest
God rested from all His work on the seventh day. Have you ever wondered, "why would God need to rest?" Especially, when He has all the power and energy. In this message, Miles shows us the greatness of God is seen as He welcomes us into his rest.

God at Work
God invites us to trust Him to work in our lives. We should not expect to arrive instantaneously at the level of the Apostle Paul who could have full confidence that God was at work in every circumstance – even prison and shipwreck. We start by trusting God in our day-to-day decisions and expecting Him to give wisdom and discernment. Then, bit by bit we grow as we see God working. Let’s not be like my passenger of years ago who insisted that we change direction because he thought he knew how to get to the airport better than I did. Let’s trust God even when the way seems confusing and stormy. If the Apostle Paul were here today, he would tell us “I am confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Jesus Christ.”
