Outrage, Justice, and Peace
We all experience moral outrage. People half a world away cheer the deaths of innocent Americans in unprovoked terrorist attacks. Special interests and political insiders control the levers of power and write laws to favor themselves. Traditions and values that we care about seem to be ignored, mocked, or even declared illegal. Are there good reasons to be outraged? What does outrage do to us? And how we can deal with outrages and find peace?
