When it doesn't look promising
God's promise is too much to believe. God promised Abram land, descendants and blessing and He has fulfilled ALL promises to us in Jesus. We are blessed. But sometimes it doesn't look promising, even in the promised land.
When God promises too much
The plan of God to bless the world is just too much to believe. The curse of sin is obvious and everything tried up to this point just makes more of a mess of things. Now God promises to bless the world through one man...and the promises of God to Abraham are far smaller than those He has made to us.

God created the world to flourish in our hands, to be blessed by our dominion under His dominion. The Holy Spirit of God has blessed us with three kinds of gifted men and women in the church, through which He desires to bless the world. We will look at each in turn.
