Stay Awake
While at his post, the guard stays alert, keeps watch. He reports all suspicious activity; he sounds the alarm when danger is near. He never sleeps on duty and is always prepared to act at a moment's notice. To be on guard is the responsibility of those assigned as guardians. They stand watch in the towers and remain vigilant and are trustworthy. The Church has been given the task of being a guardian of the faith handed down from Christ to His Apostles. She must "stay awake," being ever ready to sound the alarm.

Priceless Photos... Valuing Life from the Cradle to the Grave
If the Bible is correct, then you and I are far from accidental. We have intrinsic value because we are made Imago Dei – in the Image of God. And the truth is, you will never know who you are until you know who’s you are. Your value, and the value of those around you, will never ultimately be found in the world’s eyes, but through God’s. It’s our prayer that God will change how you see yourself, and change how you see everyone else around you. He wants us to realize the priceless photos we come in contact with everyday, from the cradle to the grave and everywhere in between. Key Passage: Genesis 1:26-27

Nehemiah 11.1-12.26: Unknown, but not forgotten
Nehemiah recognizes that Jerusalem needs more people to make the city strong and viable. Over 100,000 people are added to the city from the suburbs. Nehemiah remembers those unknowns who have such a huge part in the revitalization of Jerusalem. The unknowns in life help pave the way. Without them nothing would be accomplished. God uses the unknowns and they never go forgotten by Him. During this sermon we remember the many unknowns who never get a chance outside the womb due to abortion. This week marks 35 years since the landmark case of Roe v. Wade. May we seek to redeem the culture like Nehemiah did and seek to have abortions made illegal.
