We're not perfect: you know it, your spouse knows it, your friends know it, your parents know it, your pastor knows it. We have to face it. No matter how many times we fail, or make something up, God is there to welcome us back. Pastor Duane looks at this truth in the light of Abraham's life.

Abraham: He Believed God...
Genesis 12-22 The story of Abraham has two strands running through the entire narrative: Abraham's faith and God's amazing faithfulness. From the time that God called Abram out of Ur and gave him great promises, Abram believed God and obediently lived out his faith. Often struggling to believe, Abraham always put his trust in God in the end. God faithfully provided the promised seed to Abraham…the seed from which the Messiah would come and one day rescue God's people and rebuild His kingdom.

The Moriah Test
Pastor Larry Sundin continues in the series "Soaking in the Gospel". Larry takes us back to the story of Abraham and his test of faith on Mount Moriah. We see that God's way for us is often lonely and hard, but that in the end God provides. Pastor Larry reveals how this picture of a sacrifice is ultimately a preview to the culmination of the gospel in God's provision for us in Jesus Christ.

Expansion Project
God is glorified when we are obedient to his commands, including his command to give, and especially when we give sacrificially. Giving is a work of grace that we are to pursue. The grace of giving benefits us by laying up treasure in heaven, helping us to mortify materialism and covetousness, and by allowing us to partner in the gospel.
