Sermons About Action
What Went Wrong With This World?
Journey of Beginnings What Went Wrong With This World? Genesis 6-8 Three world conditions that caused God to say, I’ve had enough!” 1. Every intent of the thoughts of their hearts was only evil all the time. (verse 5) 2. The earth was full of violence. (verse 11) 3. All the people on earth had corrupted their ways. (verse 12) Noah, a real person of faith steps up to the plate! (chapter 7&8) 1. He took action on the message he received from God. 2. His faith compelled him to complete a most difficult task. 3. Through his faith he and his immediate family were saved. The coming of Jesus will be like the days of Noah. (Matthew 24:37,38; Luke 17:26,27) 1, People will be eating and drinking, marrying and being given in marriage, buying and selling, planting and building. 2. Never again will I send a flood that destroys everything (verse 8: 21,22; 9:13) 2. Step out of the Ark into the new life God offers you!

Expressions of Worship
365 Worship “Expressions of Worship” We Worship personally in continuous or 365 WORSHIP. We Worship corporately in gathered WORSHIP. Romans 11:36-12:1 “For from Him and through Him and to Him are all things. To Him be the glory forever. Amen. Therefore I urge you, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship.” (emphasis added) We hold the object of our worship in a position of glory and we make sacrifices for that object of our worship. Hebrews 13:15-16 Through Jesus, therefore, let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise—the fruit of lips that confess his name. And do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased. 365 Worship expresses itself in action and adoration.

Working in Faith
Faith is acting on the promises of God when they are not so in order for them to be so. Satan wants to confuse you about the relationship of faith and work.

Armed and Dangerous - 1 Peter 4:1-7
We are to be Armed and Dangerous Christians. We must be armed with the mind of Christ in order to stand against persecution. Capturing God's Vision
Vision is several things. First, it's the ability to see what God has for us, not necessarily what we want ourselves. Second, it's the faith to believe that God can do what He's leading us to do. Third, vision is the courage that leads to action. To capture God's vision we should listen for the thoughts of God, put His dreams into practice and then taste the goodness of God and enjoy His leading.

Little is Much
This week we start our summer series of messages based on the stories Jesus told about the kingdom of heaven. About a dozen of his stories began with the words "the kingdom of heaven is like." In trying to understand what our world would look like if the values of God's kingdom really took root - these stories are a good starting point. Today, we pick up the concept that the kingdom will not come in a radical, military or political takeover, but rather, through the small but powerful and pervasive infl uence of kingdom agents spread liberally throughout the existing structures of society. The revolutionary influence of the kingdom has been called by some "the quiet revolution" but it's power is incredible! "True evangelical faith cannot lie dormant. It clothes the naked, it feeds the hungry, it comforts the sorrowful, it shelters the destitute, it serves those that harm it, it binds up that which is wounded, it has become all things to all people." (quote from Menno Simons, 1496-1561)

James 2:14-26
Recognize that God, out of His riches, gave to you in your poverty and so do the same for others. Don’t show that you have no understanding of the Good News by not living it out, where you can, as you can, with the needs and situations God puts right in front of you.
