The Prodigal God, Part 3, He Came to His Senses
This is a story about the meltdown of a family. The key to restoring the family is repentance. There is worldly repentance that is the result of pain and not a Godly repentance that is the result of hating the act. The nature of repentance is pain (consequences) and asking forgiveness from God and others sinned against, thereby earning grace, amazing grace.

Amazing Grace Just Doesn't Seem Fair
The employer’s decision in this story does seem unfair. He pays the very same wage to his employees whether they work all day or just the last hour. The pay is fair for a day’s work, but it is exceedingly generous for an hour’s work.

A Life Redeemed
John Newton went to sea at the age of 11 and was forced to enlist on a British man-of-war seven years later. He was captured after deserting the intolerable conditions and exchanged to the crew of a slave ship. He began reading a book he found on board— Imitation of Christ—which began to sow the seeds of conversion. Newton eventually gave his life to Christ during a storm which threatened the ship.

The Theology of Plumbing (Luke 15:1-32)
In this message, Park's founding pastor Matt Heard shares the 'theology' of plumbing. Going through life we can either be a bucket or a pipe - we can be stagnant or become a source of life. He challenges us to fully understand what it means to be 'amazed' by God's grace, to share that joy with others, and work to see our city renewed.

Freely and Fully Forgiven
The heart of Christianity is God’s willingness to forgive the sins of man. When man because of pride and arrogance has decided to turn his back from God and began living for himself breaking His laws, he has invited curse and condemnation upon himself. Yet, despite of everything, God made a way so He can provide forgiveness through Jesus Christ.

Why Save Me?
I believe that if there is an area where we should really be amazed with God, it is in His exercise of grace towards us. John Newton gave a wonderful testimony about this grace when he wrote the popular hymn, Amazing Grace. From his own account, he considered himself unworthy of any favor from the Lord because of his sinfulness. Prior to coming to know Jesus as his personal savior, he was a captain of a slave ship; he brought so many captured slaves from Africa who were sold in England. But by God’s amazing grace, not only was he saved, he became one of the leading Anglican ministers of his time.
