Due to technical issues the introduction to this message was not recorded. This sermon was given on Palm Sunday and the introduction was connection between Palm Sunday and the message of Hebrews. When Jesus entered Jerusalem on the donkey He was presenting Himself as the King of Israel. Presenting Jesus as superior to the angels, Moses and the prophets and as the eternal King and priest is the message of the Letter to the Hebrews. Though not a normal palm Sunday message this chapter in Hebrews addresses how we are to live in light of His sovereign rule as King who is far above all. As His subjects and under His rule we are to live lives that are different.
In the final chapter (part) in the Building Relationship Series, Pastor Rudy Bropleh references Micah 5:2-5, Isaiah 8:6-7, Matthew 28:20, Hebrews 13:5, and Romans 8:28 to emphasize the quality of relationships in your life directly affect the quality of your life and God is the Mainstay of Relationships. When God is the anchor, you need to have 1) Security; 2) Stability; 3) Productivity; and 4) Longevity in your life to build and keep successful relationships.
A believers salvation is not something that should be doubted or questioned. Its certainty promised by God and God's faithfulness in keeping His promises. It is a sure hope that is securely anchored by Christ.
When facing the storm we need God's presence. We need to understand who we are in Christ, His call on our lives and the belief we can trust God even as the ship sinks.
