The Bible's All About Jesus
This first sermon in our series Understanding the Bible and Christianity LIKE NEVER BEFORE demonstrates how all the Bible points to Jesus Christ. The Old Testament ANTICIPATES Jesus. The Gospels MANIFEST Jesus. The book of Acts PROCLAIMS Jesus. The Epistles EXPLAIN Jesus. And the book of Revelation CONSUMMATES all of history in Jesus.

Kingdom Anticipation - #9
Pastor Stan continues the Kingdom Come series by sharing what Mark 13 has to teach us about the end times. Mark 13:6-13 offers 4 signs of judgement in every generation. He then gives us "future perspective" that we don't need to be afraid, we just need to be ready. And the bottom line is that "Our concern is not calculation, but preparation." We don't need to know when, we just need to be ready for whenever.

No Problem Too Great!
Our confusion is not a problem too great for God to handle. When God changes things the results are unimaginable. Why would God want to change us? God wants to see a correct balance in the relationship, wants us to be People Catchers, and wants us to live in total dependence of him. God wants us to live with an incredible anticipation.

Promises
Are we willing to wait in anticipation of what God has promised rather than demanding we get it now? We live in a "now" culture, where instant gratification is the norm. But Jesus' command to the disciples to simply wait on the Holy Spirit still holds true for us today. Pentecost is only a week away--can we wait that long?
