Am I A Thankful Person?
“AM I A THANKFUL PERSON?†Do people see me as a thankful person? Do I come across as a grateful individual? Does my family know me as one who remembers to give thanks and show appreciation? Does GOD see me as one who is thankful? Does my communication with God reflect a grateful person, or does He hear mostly “give me, give me, give me, help me, bless me?†THE SCRIPTURE: Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. Philippians 4:6 Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. 1 Thessalonians 5:18 THREE GOALS FOR THIS THANKSGIVING SEASON: 1. I am invited by God to live a life free of anxiety. 2. When I am anxious I am invited to make requests in prayer with thanksgiving. 3. I am asked by God to find a way to give thanks in all circumstances.
