A Savior on Capitol Hill?
A look at how the gospel shapes the way that Jesus' followers think, live, and vote.
A Walk Across the Room
As Christians we can quickly drift into being spiritually cowardly. Sitting on the 'spiritual couch' and thinking we are fully engaged is a long way from the "life to the full" that died to gain for us. This message challenges the status quo and encourages us on how get of the 'couch' to take steps towards being all that Jesus intended.
Living Sacrifices: Wake-Up Call
Christ's imminent return demands that we live with a sense of urgency. Indeed, it is later than it's ever been before, and with each day, hour, and moment that passes, our opportunities to serve the Lord and reach a lost and dying world get fewer and fewer. So, live in light of the present time. Are you sleeping? Then, wake up and stay alert! Put off the works of darkness, making no provision for the flesh, and clothe yourself with Jesus.
Reject Apathy: Love Your Neighbor
We are surrounded by people who need something from us--in our family, in our church and in our community. We know we should respond. But the fast pace of life, media overload and the unrelenting weight of responsibility too often lead us to simply shrug our shoulders with a resounding “meh.” We retreat to our comfort zones, emerging every now and then to give or volunteer so we can feel a little better. But all the while, we are completely missing God’s design for our lives.

Reject Apathy: Fight for Your Family
We are surrounded by people who need something from us--in our family, in our church and in our community. We know we should respond. But the fast pace of life, media overload and the unrelenting weight of responsibility too often lead us to simply shrug our shoulders with a resounding “meh.” We retreat to our comfort zones, emerging every now and then to give or volunteer so we can feel a little better. But all the while, we are completely missing God’s design for our lives. Today, Senior Pastor Paul Basden kicks off this three-week series by challenging us to move out of our comfort zones and fight for our families.
Loss of Passion
